While the cat's away...

As you know, we've sent off our dad to Berlin to see Aunt Anya, so, rather than flying solo in our own apartment, we've packed almost as much stuff as we did to MI and came out to my parents' place. This morning, Sophia had her first lessons at the Shostakovich School of Performing Arts. It went well, especially the dance class, where Sophia had wowed the teacher with - YES - her concentration and attention skills. We shall continue the classes next week so I can form a better opinion of these classes, which, inevitably, will translate into some form of criticism.
School is starting on Monday, and Sophia so far seems fairly excited about it. The only problem she foresees so far is the presence of some sort of frog in the new classroom. I can't quite remember what frog she is talking about, but Sophia is determined not to step foot "не хочу в класс, где жаба". Well, I guess we'll cross that road when we get to it.
